New Feyenoord stadium
The city council of Rotterdam (The Netherlands) has presented its plans (more here) for the future stadium of local football (soccer) club Feyenoord. The stadium will be situated next to the river Maas. Feyenoord will most likely play its first match in the new stadium in 2016. The design of the stadium, which will be part of a new "sport & leisure park" including training facilities, an indoor stadium, a speedskating track and Feyenoord's current stadium (De Kuip), has not yet been finalized.
